This study aims to fully explore the influence of rock joint roughness in slope stability analysis an open mine. Therefore, based on least squares parameter estimation method, a generalized shear strength coupling roughness, which is used evaluate design, was established by matching formula reflecting relationship between coefficient and parameter. Firstly, verify calibrate model, physical direct tests were conducted serrated joints, effect analyzed qualitatively.
